1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Footrix ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Service.

2. Description of Service

Footrix is a technology platform providing micro-applications for sustainability professionals. Our services include RouteIQ (distance and emission calculations) and other sustainability analysis tools. Access to these tools requires purchasing credits.

3. Account Registration

You must create an account to use our services. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information during registration.

4. Credits and Payments

  • Credits are purchased in advance and never expire
  • Credits are non-refundable once purchased
  • Each micro-application consumes credits based on usage (e.g., 1 credit per route calculation)
  • Credit prices may change; existing credits remain valid at their purchase rate
  • Payments are processed securely through Stripe

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
  • Resell or redistribute our services without authorization

6. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Service are owned by Footrix and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of data you input; we retain ownership of derived calculations and platform improvements.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. While we strive for accuracy in our calculations, you are responsible for verifying results for critical applications. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.

8. Limitation of Liability

Footrix shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the past 12 months.

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violations of these Terms. You may terminate your account by contacting support. Upon termination, unused credits are forfeited unless otherwise required by law.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the European Union. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the jurisdiction where Footrix is registered.
